Concept maps and their creation in ContextMinds with the help of semantic web technologies
Speakers: Marek Dudáš (DIKE UEP, ContextMinds)
ContextMinds is an app for creating concept maps. These serve, similarly to mind maps, as a representation of thoughts in the form of concepts and relationships between them. They can be used, among other things, in education to achieve so called meaningful learning. The lecture will focus on this use case and then it will present how ContextMinds uses semantic web technologies to merge concept maps into one knowledge graph, whose basis is created from DBpedia. This knowledge graph is then used to make concept mapping easier through contextual suggestions of concepts and relationships.
