Seminar: Concept map extraction and document clustering as web services – challenges and problems

We will present basic functionality and various extensions of ontology learning and document clustering methods that are employed within the KP-Lab project. Due to the need for integration of many components that form a part of the Semantic Web Knowledge Middleware in the project, we define a web-service interface for the implemented subsystems. We will tackle the problem of asynchronous calls and point out the challenges for end-user tools developed by other teams.
