Seminar: Clickstream analysis – data collection, preprocessing and mining using LISp–Miner system

Clickstream analysis can provide commercial websites with a useful feedback on online advertising and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) campaigns. The talk will present a case study implementation of the whole mining process conducted according to the CRISP–DM methodology. Following topics will be covered: a) cookie–based data collection on the server application layer, b) transformation of the varying–length clickstream into a constant number of attributes, c) association rules mining using the 4ft–Miner procedure of the LISp–Miner system.
