SPARQL and Linked Data - the essentials for Semantic Web application development

Prezentující: Josef Petrák

The Semantic Web is about making links, and exploring. Linked Data is set of best practices to form resource identifiers, design ontologies, and manage information. A short overview of these practises, and examples of information sources based on Linked Data approaches will be given. SPARQL, as a new W3C standard, is used to query RDF data. An overview of concept, usage, and view of future development of this standard will be presented.
