The PatOMat project: towards automation of ontology pattern detection and exploitation
Prezentující: Ondřej Šváb-Zamazal, Miroslav Vacura, Aristotelis Triantafyllopoulos, Vojtěch Svátek
The talk will present the various streams of the PatOMat project, which has been funded by the CSF since January 2010. The topics of the project cover both the support of computational tasks such as ontology pattern detection and pattern-based ontology transformation, and the development of pattern collections as such (incl. recommendation applications on their top), with stress on logical patterns, transformation patterns, naming patterns, and special kind of mapping patterns linking sophisticated content patterns to simpler but easier-to-use ones. For the central thread, that of ontology transformation, the impact on target applications such as ontology matching will briefly be discussed.
