Seminář: Information Filtering with Semantic Knowledge Base

The presentation introduces a news information filtering system supported by the semantic knowledge base. The presented system crawls data from semantic web data sources and uses the structured information to enrich automatically annotated news articles. A user profile is composed of real world entities and their properties extracted from the articles. The system can thus use more general concepts for filtering than just keywords. The preliminary concept and key architectural aspects are covered in this presentation.
