Seminář: Detecting Entity Relations in Texts

We present our initial steps towards a linguistic processing of texts to detect semantic relations there. Our work is an essential part of the INTLIB project whose aim is to provide a more efficient and user-friendly tool for querying textual documents other than full-text search. This tool is proposed as a general framework which can be modified and extended for particular data domains. Currently, we focus on Czech legal texts. We present the application JTagger which detects references in court decisions and the application RExtractor which extracts relations between entities from Czech laws.
