Seminář: Ontology decomposition process based on structural dependencies among concepts

The talk will report on a decomposition approach to ontology modularisation using the so-called Line Island algorithm. The steps of the algorithm are: ontology graph construction; computation of strength of relations among the concepts; Line Island determination; assignment of isolated concepts. The goal is to obtain a set of modules that are equivalent to the original ontology and can also be used in a different domain than for which this ontology was designed.
