A posteriori evaluation of Ontology Mapping Results

Prezentující: Ondřej Šváb

The first presentation relates to four different a posteriori evaluations of Ontology Mapping results. These evaluations are: manual labeling, discussion interesting mappings in discussion board, automated reasoning about mappings and mining over the mappings with meta-data. This more or less presents ‚A Study in Empirical and ‘Casuistic’ Analysis of Ontology Mapping Results‘ paper (http://www.eswc2007.org/pdf/eswc07-svab.pdf), which will be presented at ESWC-2007 (http://www.eswc2007.org/}.

Mapping Patterns and Graph-based methods in Ontology Mapping (first experience)

Prezentující: Ondřej Šváb

Second part of presentation consists of first experience with graph-based methods applied in Ontology Mapping field. Besides one generic schema-matching algorithm, named Similarity Flooding, experiments with another approach will be presented. This approach lies in representation of concept/node of ontology/tree with attributes reflecting structural features of this concept/node in graph/tree.
